Specifically designed to meet the RE2020 requirements for summer comfort, the SAMARAT ceiling fan (LED & Thermostat) is ideally suited to schools, collective housing, detached houses and public buildings.

  • It is extremely flat (15 cm under the blades) in order to comply with the AFNOR standard of 2.30 m minimum height under the blades.
  • It has a very high energy efficiency (280 to 962 m3/wh ) with a high air flow rate of 11,882 m3/h for low power consumption (43 watts). This results in a significant reduction in the Degrees of Hours in the RE2020 engine.
  • This ceiling fan is valued in the RE2020 calculation engine because it has a justified status and offers an optional integrated thermostat (which can be activated/deactivated).

LED operation

  • LED light is independent of ventilation
  • The LED light can be either warm (3K yellow), cool (6K white) or switched off.

Direction of rotation

The DC motor allows 2 directions of rotation so that the ceiling fan can be used for summer comfort (cooling) and winter comfort (diffusion of heat accumulated in the ceiling).

The Samarat thermostat

This SAMARAT enables an automated thermostat mode to be put into action (which can be activated or deactivated on the remote control). The ceiling fan will switch on automatically when certain temperatures are exceeded:

  1. If the temperature rises above 23-24 degrees, the fan starts up at intermediate speed (speed 3).
  2. If the temperature rises above 28 degrees, the ceiling fan starts up at maximum speed (speed 6).
  3. If the temperature is below 23-24 degrees, the ceiling fan remains off.

When calculating the Degrees Hours (DH), the presence of a thermostat gives a bonus on the DH calculation of around 10% due to the autonomous role of the thermostat and the resulting gain in summer comfort.

The SAMARAT fan is the only one of its kind with a thickness of only 18.5 cm BELOW THE BLADES, thus complying with the NF EN CEI 60335-2-80 standard for 2.50 m ceilings. In accordance with this standard, a minimum height of 2.30 m between the floor and the blades is recommended to ensure the safety of occupants.

Rods and remote controls

One remote control can operate several ceiling fans (up to 6) over an area of up to 50m2.
